Pricing
One of the first questions everyone asks is "How
much does a web site cost?" Although we wish we could give a definite
answer, the fact is that every website is different and unique in
its own way and client needs will vary from project to project. In order to
quote you a fair price for your specific project, we need to get
as much information from you about your needs and wants. This is
why we spend so much time completing steps One and Two of the design
process. (See Design Process)
Unlike many companies, Hamson Design does not have set prices for individual web services.
Depending on the project, the same service can be either simple or quite complex. To make sure
everyone gets treated fairly we have two ways of working at Hamson Design. We have
provided a basic web site cost for customers who only need web site design and want a
quick and simple web site. However, we have found that the majority of our clients need more
than just web site design. Therefore, we also provide full web site construction from start to
finish including anything you need to have done. We log all hours spent and what was provided and
charge by the hour. By doing this, we can assure that you are only paying for the time
and effort spent on your web site.
Basic Web Site Service: $800.00
Includes:
Domain Registration for one year
Up to 10 HTML pages
Your logo and up to 15 images optimized & improved for the Web
Coding for Search Engines
All content, including images, are to be provided by company and
are already digital. Non-digital content can be converted for additional fee.

Total Web Site Construction: $/per hour
Includes Basic Site plus anything you need to have done from:
Writing Content (some material needed)
Scanning (or Taking) Pictures
Dynamic Pages
Custom Backgrounds
Hosting/Registrar Transfers
Hourly Rate: $50
Hourly Rate: $40 (work such as transfers, converting content)

Payment Schedule
For basic sites, a 20% deposit is required at the start of the design phase after initial
consulations. Hamson Design will prepare a contract with the estimated price and time
schedule for the client.
For sites estimated over $1,000.00, a more detailed payment schedule will be planned out with
the client.
We currently offer two different plans to suit your needs:
Basic: $45/month
Includes:
Up to 1 hour of changes to your web site*
Standard hosting plan**
Value: $60/month
Includes:
Up to 3 hours of changes to your web site*
Links/Forms tested/fixed monthly
Initial Submission of Site to Search Engines
Search Engine Optimization check monthly

The above prices do not include hosting an e-commerce site.
*includes changes to existing pages only.
**Our standard plan is sufficient for 95% of our customers. If you require more
disk space, we can set you up with another plan.
Standard Plan with 100 megs disk space: $20/month
(Any Maintenance will be done at hourly rate of $50)
